A bit more about me
Hi again! I'm Jose, a UX/UI designer with a background in Architecture.
As a student and a professional in the architectural field, I’ve worked on a variety of projects such as urban cemeteries, museums, and public living spaces. Architectural design has taught me an abundance of skills, such as problem-solving, visual design, collaboration, and user-centricity. As a multidisciplinary designer, I found these skills to be invaluable, and have helped me tremendously as I pivoted into designing digital spaces.
I want to remain true to these concepts I’ve learned and make efforts to mature as a user-centered designer. I envision myself being part of a collaborative and supportive team that celebrates curiosity while remaining true to a user’s needs and desires. The stories users share along the way will no doubt be at the center of my decision-making and will help contribute to making life-enriching experiences.
In my off time
Photography
I like to capture places in time, especially when I travel to new places. I believe there's always something interesting to see, even in the most “mundane” places.
Football (Soccer)
I'm an avid football fan and always stay updated on my favorite team. When the weather is nice, I enjoy scoring a few goals myself.
Learning Japanese
This journey has been one of the most challenging but rewarding experiences. Diving into a culture distinct from my own makes it all the more worthwhile.
